We’re looking for an organized, ambitious self-starter to join our team as Chief of Staff, assisting with day-to-day operations and special projects across various areas of the business. The ideal candidate will have experience working with cross-functional teams and display strong communication and project management skills necessary for a fast-growing start-up. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a challenging and rewarding role that exposes you to all the different facets of the business, with tremendous opportunity for growth for the right motivated and outcome-oriented individual.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day administrative operations of the company
• Work with the CEO and management to lead special projects from research and concept to development and execution
• Assist and communicate with the leadership team in decision-making, project management and initiative execution, ensuring consistent strategic and tactical alignment within the leadership team and across the company
• Oversee and optimize our strategic planning process, working with leaders across the company to set, align, and track company goals
• Assess inquiries directed to the CEO, determine the proper course of action and execute or delegate appropriately
• Oversee and improve existing processes and project management tools, aligning organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity

Prerequisites

• Experience in operations, MBA preferred but not required
• Strong strategic and analytical thinker with exceptional execution and problem-solving capabilities; comfortable with doing work in the trenches while still maintaining a strategic perspective
• Ability and emotional maturity to work in a productive and cooperative way with a variety of people, possesses exceptional EQ
• An obsession with efficiency, establishing processes, and creating structure where there is none
• Proficient in excel, comfortable with financial modeling and data analysis
• Previous experience in within a start-up environment preferred
• Hands on experience with Shopify, Google Analytics preferred
• This position is projected to be remote until Summer 2021, ultimately based full time in Miami
