AOA Dx, based in Denver, Colorado, is seeking a dedicated summer C-Suite Intern to support administrative laboratory tasks crucial for establishing our sample management system, ensuring adherence to project timelines.

About AOA Dx Inc.

AOA Dx is developing the next frontier in early-stage cancer detection through its pioneering work in glycolipids and proprietary biomarker technology. Our revolutionary tumor marker ganglioside platform, GlycoLocate™, is paving the way for life-saving early cancer detection. In a first of its kind, AOA Dx is developing AKRIVIS GD™, an early-stage liquid biopsy test for ovarian cancer.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated intern to support our C-Suite leaders in applying clinical insights to various business models. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to extract and apply information from studies and market reports to develop strategic business cases.

Responsibilities

Key projects:

  • Market Analysis: Analyze clinical literature and other resources to assess market potential.
  • Economic Models: Develop basic models to predict product adoption, revenue generation, and commercialization plans.
  • Business Cases: Create business cases to evaluate the benefits of our products for insurers and healthcare systems.
  • Competitor Analysis: Conduct detailed analyses of competitors and other diagnostic companies in our sector.

Qualifications

  • Preferably final year undergraduate, MBA, or Master’s student in a business major with interest in healthcare, or scientifically inclined majors with business acumen and healthcare interest
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 programs
  • Strong project management skills
  • Technologically adept with ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and present complex data
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational and research skills, with critical and strategic thinking abilities

Training and Development Opportunities

  • Gain exposure to C-Suite level leadership and contribute to strategic decision-making through key projects.
  • Participate in business case and model development, gaining valuable hands-on experience.
  • Develop expertise in market and competitor analysis for future applications.
